Milwaukee, WI – Service Express has been named one of Milwaukee’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For. Service Express has specialized in customized on-site data center maintenance for mainframe, midrange and Intel-based servers since 1993. Headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Service Express opened the Milwaukee office in 2005, and has been offering exceptional service to the surrounding business communities ever since. This is the second year the award has been offered and the second win for Service Express in Milwaukee.
Top talent is becoming a limited resource, and companies that want to succeed need to be dedicated to their employees and best practices in human resources. Service Express believes that people make the difference, and to compete on a national level a company’s culture must not only attract but must also retain top talent. The Best and Brightest winners will be celebrated at a symposium and awards gala on Friday, February 12 at the Wisconsin Club in Milwaukee.
“We are honored to recognize the efforts of this year’s ‘Best and Brightest’ companies. These companies have created impressive organizational value and business results through their policies and Best Practices in human resource management. This award designation is a powerful recruitment tool in the drive to attract and retain exceptional employees,” said Jennifer Kluge, NABR president.
An independent research firm evaluates each company’s entry based on key measures in various categories. They include Compensation, Benefits and Employee Solutions; Employee Enrichment, Engagement and Retention; Employee Education and Development; Recruitment, Selection and Orientation; Employee Achievement and Recognition; Communication and Shared Vision; Diversity and Inclusion; Work-Life Balance; Community Initiatives; Strategic Company Performance and the Best of the Best Small Business.
“We surround ourselves with people who work hard, have fun and who get great results,” says Service Express President & CEO, Ron Alvesteffer. “We’re proud of our Milwaukee team and how they foster a culture where employees can do just that and that they are being recognized for efforts.”
