What we are looking for in a candidate:

  • A passion for building relationships and enjoys learning the “why” behind a candidate’s experience
  • Someone that understands people are complex, takes time to work the process and is able to laugh with the team through the ups and downs of the “recruiting roller-coaster”
  • Enjoys collaborating and working as a team to meet hiring needs
  • Someone with a desire to learn and grow, both personally and professionally, in order to help drive our team forward for the future
  • Ability to communicate clear messages in addition to strong active listening skills
  • Track record of responding quickly to problems with good judgement and resourcefulness
  • Ability to adapt in a frequently changing environment and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects from start to finish with a great attention to detail

Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day responsibilities:  

 Recruitment

  • Manage the full cycle of recruiting for multiple positions: sourcing resumes/candidates, conducting phone interviews and scheduling interviews, tracking and reporting on candidate and interview data
  • Partner with leaders to help identify hiring needs and provide expertise in hiring and talent planning
  • Provide leaders with information or training related to interviewing or documentation of interview findings
  • Work with hiring leaders and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria
  • Maintain a variety of recruiting sources that provide appropriate candidate flow
  • Conduct reference or background checks on job applicants
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospective talent and manage ongoing candidate sourcing relationships
  • Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations as needed
  • Maintain up to date industry trends to have competitive advantage in recruiting efforts

Strategic Initiatives

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a national footprint
  • Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict activity and effectiveness
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment plans and selection strategies for assigned business areas
  • Partner with leaders to uncover and forecast needs thus developing customized recruiting strategies
  • Propose and participate in ongoing best practices and improvements to our current recruitment efforts

Compliance

  • Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation as required by law
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
