Service Express is looking for a talented product marketing professional that wants the opportunity to build something within our organization!

As a company, we sell services but support data center maintenance products. The Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for product positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and enabling the sales and marketing teams to ensure they are aligned and work efficiently.

This position will have a large focus on timeliness and accuracy in all Service Express communications as well as the below key areas…

Technical Ambassador and Supported Products Specialist

  • Ensure all products supported by Service Express are represented accurately by the Marketing team through all internal and external media (web, printed, digital, advertising, etc)
  • Develop and maintain our online supported product inventory
  • Provide technical guidance to creative team to streamline content creation as well as unify our language and external messaging
  • Proactively communicate all EOSL announcements and campaigns
  • Develop process and use case for Technical References used by the sales team; communicating when and how they should be used as well as what products need them and why
  • Provide technical guidance to develop marketing communication and sales strategy to drive and promote our supported products and services into the market
  • Identify key features and benefits of each showcase product and/or service to highlight to sales team and for marketing promotions

Marketing Product Manager

  • Develop go-to-market strategy and overseas roadmap of new branded products and services, alongside our executive and technical leadership teams
  • Work with service and software divisions of our company to prioritize and release new features based on needs of our customers
  • Provide timeline and gather resources to execute product roadmap; plan, execute, communicate and future maintenance of any product
  • Act as product liaison of the customer portal from the marketing and sales perspective
  • Work with creative team and sales enablement team on coordination and communication of all future releases and upgrades to associated parties

Content Strategy

  • Champion new ideas and concepts to create effective and engaging content based on what is being seen in the market and/or product categories
  • Meet regularly with the content planning team to utilize their SEO, digital marketing, and product marketing expertise to guide the direction of new content
  • Partner with creative team to plan and execute product marketing campaigns as well as with product owners’ team to identify and advertise new products and product enhancements; collaborate on SEO and paid advertising efforts to keep our website competitive

Market Expertise

  • Analyze customer needs, competitive information and sales trends to assist in decision making regarding product features and functionality
  • Create, update, maintain and communicate competitor analysis executive profiles
  • Set up and monitor competitors via social listening tools, proactively communicating key messages to senior marketing leaders
  • Consistently meet with Chief Technology Officer to stay up to date on market changes and reporting back all updates to marketing team and leadership
  • Set up alerts to listen for any changes in the market

Communication & Key Partnerships

  • Consistently communicate with other team members to identify hot topics, trends, new services or products, or supported products spotlights that marketing should be capitalizing on
  • Build communication proficiency and efficiencies within marketing and sales departments
  • Proactively build relationships with key leaders within field technical operations, service, sales enablement, learning and development, information technology, data science, and marketing departments

What we are hoping you can bring to the Service Express team...

  • Successful product marketing experience
  • 3-5 years of experience within a marketing-related role
  • Proven background in effectively leading initiatives and projects
  • Knack for building relationships that allow effective collaboration and create champions for the adoption and engagement of initiatives
