Service Express is looking to add a dynamic member to it's growing Data Science team. The Senior Data Scientist – Sales & Marketing will provide a strategic advantage by owning and leading the development of innovative analytics, insights, and end-to-end predictive modeling solutions that drive revenue and enable critical decision-making for sales and marketing leadership.
What you'll be doing:
Working directly with executive leadership and senior stakeholders
Articulating the benefits of these models, products, and tools to ensure adoption and uptake of insights and findings
Be a leader in data-driven decision making, with extensive domain knowledge in marketing and sales
Proactively influencing marketing and sales strategy by answering complex business questions around various factors including pipeline measurement, channel optimization, advertising spend, and customer churn
You will also be an advisor at the enterprise level to assist in making budget recommendations, as well as mentoring and coaching people at all levels
Required Skills & Experience:
In depth knowledge of and experience with relational database systems, data warehousing solutions, and using SQL and ETL software such as Informatica Cloud, Alteryx, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, or SAP
Advanced knowledge of and experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce Analytics Studio, and Sisense
Deep and practical understanding of probability, statistics, mathematical optimization, and machine learning techniques
Extensive experience with a relevant programming language like Python, R, Julia, or Go
Familiarity with a microservices architecture such as Kubernetes and experience building, deploying, and maintaining REST APIs
Graduate degree in a quantitative field with ~10 years of applied data science experience with a marketing and sales focus
