Service Express Earns a Place on the 2021 Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Companies

18 August, 2021

Grand Rapids, MI –Service Express has been featured on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in 2021, marking 13 years. This list is ranked according to revenue growth over the last three years and recognises the most successful independent businesses within the American economy. Service Express has been featured alongside many other well-known companies, including Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia and others.

“As an international data centre solutions company with double-digit growth year after year, we are honoured to be featured once again,” said President and CEO Ron Alvesteffer. “The past year has brought tremendous changes to our organisation, including ExpressConnect® Integrations, our newly expanded global headquarters and the acquisition of UK-based company Blue Chip. I’m proud of the entire Service Express team and look forward to what the future holds for the data centre solutions industry.”

Not only have the companies on the 2021 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but this year’s list also proved especially resilient and flexible given 2020’s unprecedented challenges. Among the 5,000, the average median three-year growth rate soared to 543 per cent, and median revenue reached the equivalent of £9.1 million. Together, those companies added more than 610,000 jobs over the past three years.

“The 2021 Inc. 5000 list feels like one of the most important rosters of companies ever compiled,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Building one of the fastest-growing companies in America in any year is a remarkable achievement. Building one in the crisis we’ve lived through is just plain amazing. This kind of accomplishment comes with hard work, smart pivots, great leadership and the help of a large number of people.”

Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region and other criteria, can be found at The top 500 companies are featured in the September issue of Inc., which will be available on newsstands on 20 August 2021.
