The easiest way to check your levels is to issue the command WRKPTFGRP. They should all have a status of installed, and you should be current on all the above based on your release. There are more groups than those listed above, but these are the ones that apply to the broadest audience. If you have any questions about this, we can help you identify which group of PTFs you should be installing based on your licensed programs. 

Please note that IBM has transitioned from using APARs to Known Issues and from PTFs to Fix Information. Within the OS, the term PTF will remain, but these terms are slowly being phased out on IBM’s website.

End of Fix Support (EoFS) is the end of a TL’s maintenance period. Fix Packs, Service Packs (SPs) and interim fixes will not be created for a TL after the EoFS. 

Latest SP is the most recent SP available for the TL. 

Next SP is the IBM published target availability date for the next Service Pack for the TL.
