Service Express Acquires Compu-Fix

Grand Rapids, MI — Service Express, a leading provider of Third Party Maintenance (“TPM”) services for mission-critical data center infrastructure, has acquired Compu-Fix, a TPM provider serving the Pittsburgh market and surrounding areas. Service Express plans to leverage the strong reputation and service capabilities of Compu-Fix to bolster its presence in the geography and to offer existing and new customers superior maintenance services.
Since 1986, Service Express has provided TPM services for mission critical data center infrastructure focused on server and storage equipment. Service Express has extensive expertise across a broad range of products including IBM, HP, Sun, Dell and Proliant servers, along with EMC, STK, NetApp and Hitachi storage equipment. Service Express also provides additional service solutions such as hardware system solutions, sales and upgrades, OS support, and data center relocations. Today, Service Express services more than 2,500 maintenance customers across 33 offices in 15 states.
Based in West Mifflin, PA, Compu-Fix is a recognized leader in hardware support and managed services for companies in the Pittsburgh area. Compu-Fix has extensive expertise across a broad range of products including IBM, HP, Sun, Dell and Proliant servers and supports more than 300 customers ranging from small local businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
