Service Express named one of Milwaukee’s 2015 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For

March 16, 2015

Milwaukee, WI – Service Express has been named one of Milwaukee’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For. Service Express has specialized in customized on-site data center maintenance for mainframe, midrange and Intel-based servers since 1993. Headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Service Express opened the Milwaukee office in 2005, and has been offering exceptional service to the surrounding business communities ever since.  This is the first year the award has been offered in Milwaukee.

Top talent is becoming a limited resource, and companies that want to succeed need to be dedicated to their employees and best practices in human resources. Service Express believes that people make the difference, and to compete on a national level a company’s culture must not only attract but must also retain top talent. The Best and Brightest winners will be celebrated at a luncheon on Thursday, April 23 at EmpowerHR located at 126 N. Jefferson Street. Suite 250 in Milwaukee.

“The selection, recognition and awarding of this year’s Best and Brightest companies allows our organization to showcase their best practices. The honorees have clearly demonstrated why each of them would be an ideal place for employees to work” said Jennifer Kluge, MBPA president.

An independent research firm evaluates each company’s entry based on key measures in various categories.  They include Compensation, Benefits and Employee Solutions; Employee Enrichment, Engagement and Retention; Employee Education and Development; Recruitment, Selection and Orientation; Employee Achievement and Recognition; Communication and Shared Vision; Diversity and Inclusion; Work-Life Balance; Community Initiatives; Strategic Company Performance and the Best of the Best Small Business.

“We work hard to surround ourselves with people who work hard, have fun and who get great results, and that creates opportunities for everyone” says Service Express President, Ron Alvesteffer. “We’re proud that our Milwaukee team fosters a culture where employees can do just that, and that they are being recognized for their hard work.”
