Service Express Ranks in the Top 20 of Entrepreneur’s Best Large Company Cultures of 2017

March 2, 2017

Grand Rapids, MI – Service Express, a leading Third-Party Maintenance provider for mission-critical server, storage and networking equipment, has one of the best corporate cultures in America, according to Entrepreneur. The magazine partnered with CultureIQ, a culture management software and service provider, to release its second-annual Top Company Cultures list, recognizing businesses that have successfully instilled a high-performance culture in their workplace. This is the second year Service Express has appeared in the top 20.

“This national recognition is validation that what the entire Service Express team has built together is working,” said Service Express President and CEO Ron Alvesteffer. “Our employee-centered culture, based on our Vision to help employees achieve their personal, professional and financial goals, is the framework for the company’s success. A huge congratulations to our entire Service Express family—our culture is as strong as it is because of you.”

As part of the large-sized company category (more than 100 employees), Service Express was scored in 10 core categories: collaboration, innovation, agility, communication, support, wellness, mission and value alignment, work environment, responsibility and performance focus. These scores, combined with the employee Net Promoter Score, create the CultureIQ (CIQ) score, which is how the top 50 were determined.

“Great company cultures don’t happen on their own. They’re the result of great leadership, and a conscious effort to make everyone on a team feel engaged and important,” says Jason Feifer, editor in chief of Entrepreneur. “The honorees on our 2017 list are proof that strong cultures make even stronger companies. Entrepreneurs at all levels can draw inspiration from them.”
