Your role as a Digital Marketing Intern will be to support the Demand Marketing team as they engage with prospects & customers to create opportunities, pipeline and revenue for Service Express. To accomplish this, you will work closely with key Demand Marketing team members and utilize tools such as Marketo, 6sense, Paid ad Technologies among others. These tools will allow you to drive demand with our prospects and move them through the funnel to close revenue.
What does a Digital Marketing Intern do?
- Work with the Demand Marketing team to gain vast knowledge on paid channels utilized to accelerate prospects through the sales funnel.
- Work on creation and launch of paid advertising campaigns targeted toward our buyer. Report on Campaign performance and make optimization recommendations.
- Utilize Demand tools to monitor prospect activity and to develop campaigns based off analysis.
- Build, launch, and monitor paid search campaigns in Google Ads and other similar platforms. Reviewing search terms, keywords, and audiences. Optimize campaigns to improve delivery and results.
- Build, launch, and monitor paid social campaigns in LinkedIn Campaign Manager. Create custom audiences in platform, through CRM lists, and through other platforms including 6sense and Terminus based on message and theme of campaign. Will work with many ad types including single image, carousel, video, and more.
- Build, launch, and monitor paid display campaigns using the 6sense ad portal. Will build custom audiences and segments based on message and theme of campaign. Will work primarily with static banner ads but HTML5 ad knowledge is preferred.
- Work in our marketing automation program to direct lead flow and routing.
- Identify where buyers are getting held up in the process and implement solutions to move them through the Marketing funnel.
- Collaborate on new and innovative external marketing strategies including content and email templates within named channels.
- Monitor performance of content and email and report back to stakeholders on what’s working and what’s not contextually.
- Assist the team monitor the Demand Help Desk and assign tickets to appropriate team members.
- Learn the Service Express value proposition and later in the summer articulate our service capabilities to procurement professionals to set meetings and gain referrals.
What we are hoping you can bring to the Service Express Team…
- Currently enrolled in a marketing or related degree
- Experience with Microsoft Office & MacOS
- Highly organized and can easily adapt to change
- Have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Digital Marketing field along with a desire to learn, research and improve skills
- Ability to manage own workload and meet strict deadlines
Other:
- Salary range $18-$20/hr
- Hybrid, minimum 3 days in office required (Tuesday – Thursday in office, Monday and Friday remote)
