We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Product Marketing Intern to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in product marketing, content development, and competitive research. As an intern, you will work closely with the marketing and product teams to support various initiatives, ensuring our messaging, content, and customer-facing materials align with business goals.
What does a Product Marketing Intern do?
- End-of-Service-Life Communications: You will assist in managing end-of-service-life communications, including creating social media drafts, designing graphics in Canva, and writing copy based on templates. This will allow you to gain experience in crafting customer-facing content and learning how to communicate key product lifecycle updates effectively.
- Content Management, Updates, and Campaigns: You will review and update Highspot content to ensure accuracy and relevancy, conduct content audits for new product releases, and update product support documents to maintain accuracy and user-friendliness.
- Product Messaging and Release Notes: You will assist in crafting release notes, translating internal product updates into customer-friendly messaging for web and marketing materials. This will allow you to develop skills in writing clear, concise, and compelling product communications.
- Campaign Planning and Execution: You will support the planning and execution of product marketing campaigns, including creating campaign assets, developing messaging, and contributing to content creation. This role will provide exposure to full-cycle marketing campaign execution and an understanding of how to align messaging with business goals.
- Sales Enablement and Competitive Research: You will help develop battle cards for new products to support sales enablement and conduct market research on competitors, industry trends, and customer insights. This will deepen your understanding of product positioning and how to gather competitive intelligence to inform marketing strategies.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support go-to-market strategies and ensure alignment with product positioning, gaining a deeper understanding of how different teams come together to launch successful products.
- Project Management & Team Coordination: Gain experience using Monday.com to help organize and track team assets, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient workflow management across marketing initiatives.
What we are hoping you can bring to the Service Express team…
- Currently enrolled in a Marketing or Communications degree
- Experience with marketing or professional setting
- Exposure to Microsoft, Canva, Marketo, and Monday.com is a plus
- Ability to adapt and be resourceful within a rapidly changing environment
- Eagerness to learn and problem solve
- Time management and communication skills
Other:
- Salary range $18-$20/hr
- Hybrid, minimum 3 days in office required (Tuesday – Thursday in office, Monday and Friday remote)
